Lane Monte Kiffin was born May 9, 1975, he is the current and 21st head coach of the Tennessee Volunteers college football team.[1] He was previously the head coach of the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League, and also the offensive coordinator of the University of Southern Califonia Trojans

He is the son of veteran college and NFL coach Monte Kiffin, who currently serves as defensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Given name at birth is Monte Lane Kiffin as per Lincoln Journal Star, Lincoln, Nebraska.
