MediaCorp Subaru Impreza WRX Challenge 2009 kicks off

Last year’s winner, George Lee, clocked an impressive 81 hours 32 minutes.

But this year, barely two hours passed when some participants decided to throw in the towel.

The MediaCorp Subaru Impreza WRX Challenge is here again.

For the first time, the organisers have invited participants from China, Taiwan and Indonesia.

Some 400 people turned up at the Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza to take part in the event on Saturday.

They are all focused on winning a brand new Subaru Impreza worth S$81,000.

The rules seem simple enough. They just have to place their palms firmly onto the cars. The last man or woman standing will be the winner. More:subaru challenge
