It’s been a good ride, but life circumstances call for me to give up my fabulous MIL apartment. As a favor to my landlord, Im searching for a potential tenant(s) to enjoy the bliss of this great home!
The apartment: Technically it’s a daylight basement, but it’s very bright and has windows in every room (including the bathroom…you decide). It’s about 700 sq ft split between an open, full kitchen, a sizable living area, and an enormous bedroom with LOTS of closet space AND your own W/D. There’s an attached garage that could fit at least 7 more bicycles, and a few random boxes if you so desire.
The neighborhood: 20 steps down the street will give you a view of the sparkling waters of Greenlake, and it’s a 2 minute walk to the Elysian Brewery in Tangletown, or a 7 minute walk to Latona Pub if you prefer other kinds of watering holes. There are a number of bus routes within the vicinity: 16, 48, 72, 26 and others. Grocery stores, good times, and good people abound!
Your responsibilities: The landlord is the coolest I’ve ever had. He goes on his gut, talks to you a bit, and lets you move in with first month’s rent. That’s it. No deposit, no first and last. Utilities are split with upstairs tenant, and are about $40-80 per month, give or take. Available Dec 1.
