Ive been in Orange County for a few years with a solid employment history. I pay my bills on time and in full and my checks dont bounce. Im fairly quiet and dont bring the gang home from the bar at 2am.
Im looking for a single-person long term rental with kitchen (fridge, stove, oven, sink) and at least a 3/4 bath (toilet and shower). Most of the rest of the details arent critical but, of course, the nicer the place, the more Ill be willing to pay. Id like something within 20 miles of the 405/55 interchange but will consider a longer commute for the right place.
The important part is having my own place. Ive had enough of The Beast who only needs 5 minutes to make a bathroom uninhabitable for 10 hours. Ive had enough of the perpetual drunken guy. Ive had enough of the unemployed WoW player. Well, actually, hes not so bad but his unemployments going to run out eventually.
Having said that, apparently I still need to clarify. Im not interested in having roommates.
Within 3 hours, I had over a dozen responses to my first post and all but two were for people wanting to share a house/apartment/condo. I do NOT want to share a house/apartment/condo/barn/garage/warehouse. Please dont contact me if youre looking for a roommate. Please dont contact me to tell me your daughter/son/third-cousin-twice-removed/significant-other is looking for a roommate. Please dont contact me to tell me you need someone to take over your room in a house/apartment/condo/etc. unless I would be the only person living in the dwelling. I will certainly consider a 5-room McMansion for $900 but ONLY if there will be nobody else living in the house.
Im currently in a month-to-month arrangement with the last month already paid in advance so I can move on short notice or hold out for a few months if it means getting a really good place. Im not under any pressure to move and dont have to be out by a specific date.
