See, i dont have really good credit right now because of some traffic tickets that were sent to collections or i just dont have any credit. I was living in a hotel for 2 years paying 100$ a day and 3,100 a month and i never looked for an apartment because i thought credit check was required so i did not even bother... (the owner of the hotel can vouch that i always made the payments on time and can also print out my file that i was staying there for about two years paying 3,100 a month) Well i was getting sick of living in a hotel and sick of wasting my money so i went on craigslist to see what i could find. Well then i came across this ad "no credit check" so i responded to that ended up with a 6 month contract... well three months into it i am being jercked around and treated unfair... we made a contract that i could put the rent in at any time of the month as long as it was in by the end and i had not put any money in and it was like the 20 and i am getting e mails saying that the old contract is not working and that it needs to be rewritten so now i have to have half on 10th (the day before her mortgage is due) and the other half on the 25 (the day before her other mortgage is due) and the contract we wrote up was by the end of the month and today the 28 she said i need to have everything in plus 50$ for it being late... plus i am paying 1275 and the place was trashed when i moved in i had to have the carpets cleaned (and there are huge holes in the carpet) the heat does not work in 2 rooms, i have to reset the hot water every time i wash clothing take a shower, or do dishes or else the water stays cold (something about the breaker) well point is i dont feel that i am being treated fairly (mostly because i am new to renting)
i am looking for an apartment in feb. or march. around 1200 that i dont have to repaint, clean or replace carpets, or have any trouble with the water or heat. i do have a dog that is potty trained and well behaved, and i dont have the greatest credit. it can be one or 2 bedroom, 1 or 2 bath... i was looking around and noticed 1275 is the price either for a pretty nice place or a place with alot of bed rooms... i am 21 i have a cleaning buisness... i just want to get my money worth... if any one can help me find a place i would really appreciate it...
