Im a single woman, 41, with two cats, seeking to flee an abusive mate who I have let control me up till now.
Ive forty seven dollars to my name, a room full of stuff, and, sans the relationship problem, am pretty together. I dont have a job, but Im good looking and have some skills, so I dont think finding one will be much of a problem. I share a small car with the mate, but would prefer to leave it behind, as he is prone to be violent if he is crossed and Im sure he wants the car.
Im looking to rent a room from someone who is non-violent, non-drinking/drugging and conveniently on a bus line in the Seattle area--downtown, U district, wallingford, up to Lake City, Capitol Hill, Madrona, Belltown, anything in the the greater Seattle area, who would take me on as a roommate knowing Ive no cash on hand, but I could cook, clean, garden, and pet/house sit in exchange for rent until I get a job. Again, Im pretty confident I can find a job or temp job pretty quickly, as Im pretty humble and would work any job right now, outside of something seedy.
I also attend regular anonymous support groups and have a posse of anonymous friends who would help me move when the day came to ensure the abusive mate will not follow me.
I appreciate you considering me, and, if you have a spare room, accept me and my cats to it, Id be happy to sign an agreement, make back payments for my rent after I find a job, and/or whatever would work.
