Hello! Were a couple seeking an awesome place to live. The location of that place can be flexible; whats most important to us is our home.
About us : were both 28, a student of massage school and a full-time professional as a wilderness program manager for a small non-profit. We really enjoy having a clean home with lots of natural light in it (so please no basement apartments). And plants! We have a few and love them, too. We are both musicians and songwriters, like reading (one more than the other) and watching The Daily Show (vice versa to the books), cooking really good, simple, seasonal and fresh meals, climbing rocks, Flight of the Conchords Season One, baking bread, dancing to electro-glitch-hop, and laughing like its all we were made to do.. We also consider ourselves exceptionally kind and understanding people (as much as one can say that without sounding overly saintly).
About what were looking for : something bigger than our current place (450 sq. ft.) with adequate room for me to practice massage and not take up the entire living room. Somewhere with lots of windows, as mentioned above. Somewhere relatively quiet thats also okay with us playing our guitars, or iPods in the evenings. We are totally down with living with someone else, or a couple folks, that share similar values particularly around living expectations (i.e. keeping the place clean).
Logistics : our lease is up at the end of November, though we could be flexible with the perfect place. $900 is our max, preferably, of course, less than that. And one last bit : were really keen to do a work-trade on a place that needs some love (i.e. garden, lawn, painting, etc) for some of the rent.
