I am reposting a previous ad. My roommate is building his first home, and naturally would like to have it as his own w/o sharing. Therefore, I will need to find a place of my own as soon as possible. No apartments please... only if its incredibly amazing...(when does that ever happen)
"Oh Boy.. where to begin
I am beginning a new chapter in my life as a single man after the end of a ten year relationship, and need a QUALITY place to live. As I no longer have the financial buffer, I dont want to end up living in a cardboard box! I would love a few things, but NOTHING is set in stone... Ive always wanted to live in a private cottage-type home, but thats not likely...
Prefer a quiet residential area not too crappy or worn down..
Washer/dryer(even if it is shared)
Private bath(if possible)
Friendly people..this is essential.
Perhaps a yard I have two adorable Pugs that WILL be visiting/staying me, as they are like my kids and not seeing them would be awful... at least occasionaly. They are entirely trouble-free!
Some random thoughts :
I am nearing my 8th year of my job/career with a very prominent company based in Seattle. I am reliable, if somewhat neurotic(in my own unique way)... I would like to not sign an enormous lease, as I am unsure of what my future holds. I am a really good guy who, frankly, is quite nervous about starting all over again. I need to resettle into life with calm and understanding. I like noise as much as the next guy, but since I am now over 30, I dont like youthful idiocy. I love music. All kinds. I have my own vehicle, and would love to be able to park it nearby. I have pretty much all the essentials to live with, as Ive amassed life for the last decade.
Please be nice, and see how this can be pretty scary for a guy thats been attached at the hip for a very long time.
Ask me anything. I prefer honesty over presumption.

An add-on or two... I really need wireless, as I use it to communicate with a good friend overseas by cam. Also, I own a truck as my main vehicle, but have a classic car from the 70s I am also trying to sell. Therefore, a place to park it until it is purchased would be excellent.
ANYONE have a cottage-style place Simplicity, security, quality... thats all I need.
Being fairly left-of-centre would be great politically, although I do like for everyone to have their own opinions!
Id like to pay a flat fee for everything, as that keeps things less complicated. Also, Im not wealthy, so please think about this when looking for a renter. It would be more than amazing to NOT live in an apartment. I just dont like the cramped awkwardness.
Please dont say I have a place for 650 dollars that is great!, as this obviously wont fit my budget... I dont like having zero saved after paying bills, so the less-expensive the better.
