Looking for a pit bull friendly housing for 3-6 month lease

Im looking a dog friendly apartment/townhouse, etc. for my staffordshire mix and I for a short term 3-6 month lease. Im having a hard time find apartment complexes that allow mixes of any kind of large breed, especially pit bull, staffordshire, etc. My dog is only 45 lbs and doesnt even really look that much like a pitbull but shes black and muscular and people cant tell the difference. Im a single woman so its very important to me that it be in a nice safe location preferably within walking distance of shops and restaurants (but not necessary) It also must be very clean and well kept, other than that Im really not that picky on size, etc. My office is located at 635 and the tollway so within 15 minutes of that location is definitely a plus. I would prefer a range between $700-$1000 p/m depending on what utilities are included for a small apartment.
