Moving to the area to attend unt this spring semester and i am in need of a place to call home. I am looking to move sometime in dec so that i can get in and get settled. The areas that have been suggested to me are denton, lewisville, mckinney, and frisco. I am not looking for more than a 20 min drive so if i missed a city that is close please do not heistate to email me. I am not familiar with the area so i do not know a lot about the cities that i have listed. I would prefer a place that is in a safe neighborhood and easy access to the freeway.
About me:
28 y/o female who is outgoing, drama free, and very respectful of others. I like to hang out with friends, and go shopping whenever possible. Love to go to the movies, or just stay at home and read a good book. I am prior military so i am sorta a neat freak. I am very respectful of others and their privacy and would like the same in return. I am the type that likes to go to the party but not live at the party. Love to meet and get to know new people and love to try new things as long as it is safe, legal and i get to keep my feet on the ground then i am all for it. I understand completely how hard it is to trust and open your home to others but if i am going to pay bills their also i am going to treat your place just like it is my own. I am hardworking, trustworthy woman. I understand that there is a time and a place for everything. I am a social drinker so on occasion i will come home and have a beer or a glass of wine depending on the type of day that i have. I have family in the irving,arlington area and i plan on working while going to school so i cannot say how much time that i would be spending at home. Looking for someone that i could possibly become friends with and who would like to show me the area. If not i know how to stay out of your way.
What i would like in roomate/roomates:
Be respectful and courteous of others. No racist or prejudices mentalities please. If you are a smoker i would prefer that you not do it around me. Please DO NOT be demented or twisted in anyway. If you have a problem obeying the law then please just overlook my ad. Please dont have an psychotic friends thats likely to harm you are myself. Please have a attitude similar to mine meaning having a positive outlook on life and likes to enjoy the company of friends whenever you can. Understand that there is a time and a place for everything and lets respect each others boundaries. You can be either male or female race, gender, or nationality is not important to me. Please be respectful that is all i ask. Please do not try to be my parents. I have those already and i am not looking for anymore.
Things about place:
If your home or apartment has a roomate layout that would be great if not that is fine also. Would like my own bathroom/bedroom. Possibly furnished. Not looking to move my things from another state at this point. Not be in a dangerous or rundown area. Would like to be able to come and go as i please. I am sure that i am going to make friends so i would like to be able to invite them over as long as it doesnt make you uncomfortable in any way. Would like to live in a place that i can call home and not be restricted to just one part of the house. Please understand that i will never, never, eva eva eva go into your bedroom at any time. Just think that is the best way to handle things. I just would like for us both to be comfortable with each other because this is where you live and hopefully i will live also.
