Temple Ramat Zion, a Conservative synagogue in Northridge, is seeking a teacher for a class combining 1st and 2nd graders on Sunday mornings from 9:30-12:00pm and possibly 2nd grade on Tuesdays from 4:00-6:30pm that would involve both Hebrew and Judaic instruction. The candidate should have some teaching experience in Hebrew language, Tanakh, Jewish prayer, rituals, values, holidays, life-cycle events and modern Israel.
Location: Northridge
Compensation: Compensation will be based on the Los Angeles Bureau of Jewish Education scale.
This is a part-time job.
