Behavioral Learning Center, Inc. (BLC, Inc.) is a California certified non-public agency. We provide in home behaviorally based intervention to children who have been diagnosed with Autism and other neurological and developmental delays. The programs offered are: ABA/DTT and Adaptive Skills. We currently contract with the Regional Centers in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys.
BLC, Inc. is currently looking for Behavioral Tutors for part time positions. We are looking for tutors who are available to work the shifts from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays (Sat if available).
Please note, this position is open for individuals who are looking to work in the San Fernando Valley ONLY. Specifically, we are looking for people willing to travel to the homes in the city of Woodland Hills, Thousand Oaks, West Hills, and Calabasas. We are also looking for Spanish-speaking bilingual applicants, so if you are able to converse fluently, feel free to apply.
Perfect candidates for the Behavioral Tutor position will posses the following qualifications:
o Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Speech Communication Disorders or any other related area of study
o Experience working with children
o Friendly, patient and eager to learn
o Dependable and reliable transportation

Since many of the children attend school during the day, hours for this position are approximately from 2 pm to 7pm Monday through Friday and possible Saturdays. References will be requested after a successful first interview.
This position requires driving to different client locations in the Santa Clarita Valley. We typically try to place our employees close to the area they reside to keep driving to a minimum.
