Let Engraving Concrete by Design Remodel Your Existing Commercial or Residential Concrete by offering the following options:
ENGRAVING - we have taken concrete staining to the next level. Staining and engraving a design into the hard concrete creates a long-lasting, easy-to-maintain alternative to popular flooring that can be simple and elegant extraordinary works of art. Our process can be applied to existing and/or new concrete for interior floors, patios, driveways, pool decks, sidewalks, garage floors, etc. We specialize in interior and exterior, vertical and horizontal, commercial and residential. Concrete engraving in not an overlay or stamping, nor do we use a mold. It is engraved into the existing concrete surface to give a distinctive effect that replicates the look of brick, marble, slate, flagstone, cobblestone, tile, and many other designs. With our state-of-the-art equipment we can provide a remarkable accuracy and resemblance to stone, slate and other designs listed.
ACID STAINING -Acid Stain is a blend of water and mineral compounds that react with substances already present in the concrete, "etching" the color into it. This reaction creates permanent insoluble color effects that resemble marble or natural stone. Variations and inconsistent color are expected, as this chemical reaction will react different on every application or surface.
DYES - Dyes are solutions of extremely fine transparent coloring agents designed to penetrate existing concrete; it is not a reactive stain. Dyes come in a wide range of intense colors and can be used in conjunction with acid stained floors to both fix problem areas as well as color accent for layering and depth. Also great for polished concrete floors.
POLYMER STAIN - Polymer stain is a non reactive stain and is available in a full pallet of colors. We use polymer stains if a solid color is desired or for our faux finish projects.
POLISHED CONCRETE - We mechanically polish new or existing concrete, turning an ordinary piece of concrete into a beautiful, long lasting work of art without the need of topical coatings. Used mainly in a commercial environment because of the durability and little to no maintenance. Colorant can be added to the concrete during mixing to give the concrete a desired color.
