About the company:
We are BitFlipping Technologies - a young seed-funded Internet start-up founded by serial entrepreneurs with backgrounds at MIT, IIM and Microsoft. Currently a team of 9, we are developing a cloud-based consumer internet product for global markets using technologies like Google App Engine, Amazon Web Services, Memcached, Hadoop, Windows Azure, .Net 3.5, Dojo Framework, Facebook Connect, OpenId using tools and principles of Extreme Programming. We are based out of a nice and cozy apartment tucked away in a quiet corner of Gurgaon, India and intend to hang around here even after getting our first round of funding for the sheer joy of having a casual, relaxed, home-like environment at work!
Requirements:
We need geeks with a single minded focus on building great software and a drive for learning new stuff every day, who take great pride and joy in their work, and are full of humility and a passion for technology. Please do not apply if you are looking for clear role definitions, structured career path, big pay package or perks. Also, if you think you have it figured and know it all, good for you, but we do not need you. We need people who want to earn their stripes by joining us in this early phase of intense innovation and learning, who deliver their best in a fast-paced, flat organization working on multiple challenges with things under constant flux.
