Yahoos Custom Brand Experiences Team is responsible for producing customized solutions, microsites, programs and landing pages for Yahoo! advertisers in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and US Hispanics market. These solutions leverage Yahoo!’s network, products, and services as well as third-party networks and technology to create opportunities for marketers to uniquely engage their customers.
Job Responsibilities:
-Responsible for creating, and producing branded content pitches for top brands focused on the US Hispanic and Latin American markets
- Maintain a close partnership with the Director of Market Development and Design Agencies to conceive next generation experiences; act as key client liaison responsible for strategy as well as strong influence over visual design and user experience
- Partner closely with Sales, Program Managers and development teams to provide end-to-end solutions
-Responsible for collaborating closely with content producers and creative partners to generate new and fresh ideas
- Work with engineers to define products and help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable execution schedule
- Write detailed product specifications with cross-functional input, and work with engineering on development and roll out
- Work with designers on new site development, helping them define extremely usable, consumer-oriented web-based interfaces
- Manage end to end product development lifecycle including ideation, execution, launch and metrics reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Communications, Marketing or Advertising (MS a plus)
- Minimum 7+ years of work experience with at least 4 + years with Internet or Advertising companies. Marketing experience is a plus; combination of agency and client side experience is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of different project management methodologies. Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum is strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand long-term (big picture) and short-term perspectives of situations
- Ability to translate business needs into product requirements
- Ability to present to all levels of the organization, clearly & concisely on issues, alternatives, recommendations
- Ability to handle multiple projects, define priorities and deliver to commitments
- Ability to work in an aggressive, fast paced environment
- Strong passion for new technologies and Internet trends
- Understanding of Yahoo!’s strategic and competitive position
- Passion for working on a variety of information-related products and challenges
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Spanish and English. Portuguese is a plus
- Strong, clean visual design sense
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with the ability to complete large volumes of work quickly.
- Must possess a true passion for advertising and working to drive new forms of brand integration/sponsorship
- Proven experience in working with top brands
