Were seeking a motivated, creative, and meticulous developer to support our web development team. As a Web Developer you will be responsible for all aspects of the technical design, implementation and maintenance of a business solutions, but with an emphasis on the front end side of things. Position will support new applications, in-progress application development projects, and integration portals.
Specific responsibilities include:
*Design and develop interactive user interfaces along with back-end databases to deliver rich user application experiences
* Work with client and team to help translate requirements into design/application specifications
* Development of technical requirements (scoping)
* Develop prototypes and web interfaces for applications, including the ability to develop tableless layout interfaces and the ability to implement AJAX functionality where it makes sense.
* Design and build Microsoft SQL Server databases
* Develop and maintain database-driven web applications (including Communities of Practice/Social Networking and Content Management System) written in a variety of VB, C#, and ASP.NET
* Integrate online applications with centralized membership systems and content management systems similar database-driven applications
Must haves:
* Working experience with HTML, XHTML, CSS1, CSS2, Silverlight
* Javascript skills including AJAX,
* Object-oriented development background in C#, C++ or Java
* Experienceed in procedural development in ASP .NET 3.0
* Minimum of two (2) years of in-depth business experience designing, developing and delivering technical solutions using ASP.NET
* Solid experience and knowledge of database architecture and familiarity with creating, reading and updating databases in a server-side database such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle
* Experience developing large database-driven Web solutions.
* Self-motivated and self-teaching, with strong teamwork skills.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills and possess the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a collaborative team environment.
Pluses:
* Familiarity with IIS, Java, Flash, COM, and CGI.
Education:
* Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
