I have no idea how to write about myself on the Internet. Ive tried several dating sites and I always get stuck. Ive tried...twice. Ive been single for way too long and I think its time to put myself out there. Ive been in living in Chicago for 2 years. I sometimes love it, and I sometimes hate it. Depending on my mood. Im kind of a hermit but spend a lot of my time writing at Caffe Florian (at 27th & Blackstone). Im a junior at university of chicago studying Psychology. And no, Im not a fan of the Maroons. I dont like football. In fact, I dont like sports at all.
I love artistic clutter. Some of my favorite artists include Devender Singh, Théo van Rysselberghe and Mikhail Vrubel. really loud guitars, conversations that last all night, and endearing sarcasm (especially the facetious kind). Ive wanted to be a writer all my life and I, fortunately, have the opportunity to do so professionally. Theres not enough snarky banter in the world.
To unwind I like to have drinks at calvert house on S. university ave.. I like probing questions. I think Patti Smith and Paul Simon are way overrated, I hate that Hollywood doesnt make movies like The Matrix and A Clockwork Orange anymore, and I love learning to pilot a plane. And recently Ive gotten into crocheting. More than anything, I want to be inspired...
