the drummer in my band and his sisters are having a birthday/halloween party tonight and my roommate bailed on me - perhaps some lovely gentleman would be so kind as to escort me it is a costume party; i am thinking of going as a zombie ballerina (it was the only thing i could come up with that didnt t require me to spend any money - i already have face-paint, tights and a leotard. easy enough, right).
about me: i am an undergraduate student studying japanese and womens and gender studies. i am also a bit of a music geek, and i go to live shows regularly (i.e. weekly if not several a week). i have been really into the new julian casablancas solo album as of late, as well as girls, the wild beasts, the xx, the very best, the big pink, and japandroids to name a few. i wear glasses (or contacts), have bangs, and ride a fixed gear bike, so....some might call me a hipster, but i try to distance myself from the conceited assholeishness associated with hipsterdom. regardless, i tend to find myself attracted to guys who would be chucked into that box beside me. go figure. also, word on the street is i am pretty damn attractive, please dont reply unless you are confident that you are the same or we are both just going to be disappointed. also, if you want to have any hope of me getting back to you, please return the favor and tell me at least a smidgen about yourself.
i probably wont be heading out for a few more hours so .... you never know, it could be a wild evening.
