Ive never been a big fan of Halloween (Im a huge scardey cat, and I think I went Trick Or Treating like twice).....so the obvious alternative is hanging out with a guy I meet on CL.
Some basic stuff about me - 5 feet/100 or so, Italian, German, & Puerto Rican. Born & raised in Brooklyn, stayed in NYC for undergrad, and just finished my masters in Biomedical Engineering. I love museums, especially the Natural History Museum and science museums, concerts, reading, playing guitar, etc..
I love sports, especially basketball (I played through college) and football (Giants), but nowadays I pretty much just run to stay in shape, though I longboard where I cant get killed by cars, and Id love to learn how to surf.
Favorites:
Movies: good will hunting, the sandlot, dead poets society, zoolander, raising victor vargas
TV: almost anything on PBS, scrubs, the wire, the office, HIMYM, and the Big Bang Theory
Music: I love the old stuff, Neil Young and his sometimes friends & bandmates Crosby Stills & Nash, Bob Dylan, Nick Drake, and some new(er) stuff, like Alkaline Trio, New Found Glory, Wilco, Explosions in the Sky, are just a few - Im pretty open-minded.
Books: Mostly non-fiction sciencey or pop-economics books, and Wired magazine, but right now Im reading Brief Interviews w/ Hideous Men by David Foster Wallace, and I love it.
Assorted Randomness:
- I dont smoke (I dont drink either, but thats a personal preference, not a moral thing, all my friends drink)
- Im athletic but TOTALLY accident prone. Ive fallen on my face - literally - more than once. But Ive gotten quite good at laughing at myself
You:
Not gonna break out the laundry list, but dont be allergic to reading, and maybe be somewhat outgoing (Im only shy when I first meet people, I promise). If you can make me laugh, youre golden. And if you have a cool idea for doing something on Halloween that doesnt involve wearing a costume or me getting scared out of my mind, you also get bonus points. Oh, and be 22-30.
Theres a lot Im probably leaving out, so if theres anything you wanna know just ask.
I thought about putting up a picture, buut the closest celebrity I bear resemblance to is Rosario Dawson, only probably quite a bit shorter.
