Qualified Candidates must have the following certifications in order to be considered for position.
A minimum of 5 years experience managing a Recertification Department
Candidate must have knowledge on all phases of Tenant Recertification’s, and will run a general operation of the company while ensuring customer service. Potential employee must be fully knowledgeable of rent stabilized, decontrolled apartments, Section 8, HUD, SCRIE, DRIE and HSP voucher program. Experience on reviewing monthly financial reports, tenant file maintenance, waiting list management skilled, apartment leasing, MOR preparations, HUDs EIV system, LIHTC, HPD rent roll, certified rent roll, tax credit specialist and annual rent roll for DHCR yearly audits. Experience with Skyline and AS400.
Following certifications are needed
Certified Manager for Housing (NCHM)
Certified Occupancy Specialist (NCHM)
Certified Assisted Housing Manager (NCHM)
