Originally from Dallas, Texas, Melissa is a 25-year-old sales representative who still resides in Dallas. Melissa is one of the 25 ladies to compete for the heart of Jason Mesnick in the 13th edition of the ABC reality dating show The Bachelor. The first single dad in Bachelor history and the runner-up to a season of The Bachelorette himself, Mesnick, 32 is an estate and legacy planning executive who became a huge fan favorite after he was rejected by DeAnna Pappas.

Melissa Rycroft is emerging as a contender on The Bachelor. Jason Mesnick may propose to her. There's no telling for sure, but we believe the former cheerleader has the inside track to his heart.
