Sure I wouldnt mind paying BUT.... They still have never paid my the arrears owed on the same child. My ex wife owes me $6000, for the three year I had our child! Then there is the fact that she has three houses while I have been homeless for the majority of the past 6 years! Is that fair to me If you read the "rules" they state that they can not cause a supporting parent to be forced into poverty...but being I am paying support I cant collect food stamps. There is no cash assistance! And who can really tell me that they too live on $400 a month take home pay in this economy! You cant do it. My rent alone is $300, and winter is coming, unless everybody is happy to think about switching on the news a month from now and seeing my frozen ass, in the report about the Owego man froze to death! There is no understanding by the courts all the judge wants is to talk to my lawyer! I cant afford one. There is far more to this story! There is a lot I may never tell...(not sure where the ex wife is currently, and too I will protect my identity)....but there is a lot the courts will do that isnt right nor is it fair! Which is sadly my point!! For the other folks nobody read (or at least responded to) something else I wrote last night! A lady I worked with was bringing home $9 a week pay checks....JUST NINE DOLLARS....can you imagine How is that possible But this is what child support is, and this is what it does! She paid child support for three kids and worked a total of at least 60 hours a week for a nine dollar paycheck! Well gotta run!
