Were looking for a self-motivated person to take over much of the content and marketing work on a very large Web site. Well teach you what to do over a period of a few months, but at some point we need someone who can manage the entire process. Tasks include:
* Researching and writing articles for the Web site
* Blogging
* Posting articles on syndication Web sites
* Writing press releases
* Posting the releases on press-release sites
* Various online-marketing tasks, such as link-building
* Reviewing and managing the work of several part-time writers/bloggers
* Working with a programmer to develop new site features
This could be a great introduction to the world of online marketing, including Search Engine Optimization, for someone interested in an online and ecommerce career. You must be ...
* Very computer literate; you dont need to be able to program, but you do need to be very comfortable using the Web and other online tools, and working with a computer
* A good writer - youll be writing articles, and wed like them to be good!
* A decent editor
* A quick learner; well be showing you the online marketing techniques we use and then youll be running with it
* Self motivated; youll be working alone much of the time once you get up to speed
This job could be full-time or near-full time, on a contract basis
Location: Denver/Boulder Area
Compensation: $15 - $20/HOUR
