Marketing Manager: Position Overview: Selected candidate will work closely with the Director of Marketing & Merchandising to implement comprehensive marketing plans that include critical consumer, competitor, and industry insights. Work in close conjunction with product and management teams to ensure SAGEs marketing efforts integrate with company’s short and long-term growth goals. Essential Responsibilities: Consumer Insight and Market Audit. Compile consumer, competitor, industry, and general consumer goods trends into a formalized Marketing Audit to help guide brand, strategic, and product planning. Work closely with Product Category Managers to create processes that guides product and communication planning Communication Strategies: Deliver integrated communication plans. Develop advertising plans including budgets, briefs and media buy. Drive internal and external creative resources with affective creative briefs Supervise the communication of brand image and identity systems to internal and external entities Align with Director of Marketing & Merchandising to ensure all marketing efforts align with long-term brand goals and leverage growth initiatives
Requirements: * 5+ years of progressive marketing management experience * 3+ years experience in a consumer sales organization required * Bachelor’s degree required, with focus in marketing or equivalent work experience in same field. MBA with marketing focus preferred * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Proven ability to set direction, ensure execution, and motivate team members * Proven ability to implement business strategy * Ability to assimilate to Sage culture
