Midtown ad agency aggressively expanding our business.
We are seeking a full time Director of Business Development to lead and optimize the company’s efforts to generate strong growth. The ideal candidate must demonstrate his/her past success and passion for prospecting, developing and closing new ad agency client business. We will only interview candidates who have a track record of success in the advertising agency business.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the strategy and implementation of sales initiatives to target and acquire new client prospects.
Build and manage an ongoing pipeline of client prospects in an organized systematic method.
Develop promotional strategies and create sales presentations.
Build outreach via local networking events, online social networking and any other creative tactics available today.
Manage all prospecting presentations and be responsible to close business.
Develop new business plan, forecast new revenue levels and achieve mutually agreed upon growth benchmarks.
Required skills and experience:
Proven track record of ad agency new business sales.
Minimum 5 years experience in this specific role with references
Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and organized manager
Oral and written communication skills must be excellent
Must be proficient in Word, Excel and contact management software.
Compensation: Draw plus strong commission.
