We are looking for a savvy, driven sales and marketing ‘Guruin the making to contribute across multiple business areas of the recently launched www.telecomforcharity.org
presence. It is a way to use everyday business services to support the charity of your choice, as well as the ability for any Not for Profit outfit to use as an alternative fund raising mechanism.
Our Telecom for Charity initiative offers best of breed telecommunication services from over thirty carriers. We donate 5% of the discounted rate to the charity of your choice. Our business plan is to reach socially responsible companies (and Not for profits and save them money too), at the same time working through our initiative they are indirectly supporting various worthy causes.; Everyday business telecommunication services used in a socially responsible manner to support ANY worthy cause I.E. Telecom for Charity.
This is a unique opportunity for a motivated professional seeking hands-on experience at the intersection of the start-up initiative world and the rewarding field of supporting various worthy causes through everyday business services.
Our goal is to raise One Million dollars for worthy causes generated through everyday business telecommunication services procured through our initiative and then continue to raise a million more and so on!
. Responsibilities can include but are not limited to: DIRECT SALES ; business strategy, research, email marketing, project management, introductory calls, partnership & business development , Marketing
Take on new projects as necessary to support the growth of the business
Qualifications:
Excellent organizational and time management skills Effective team player and ability to lead when needed Excellent written and verbal communications skills Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work under pressure with deadlines Familiarity with website and application development process a plus Passion for helping raise money ; easy going ; go getter Relevant work experience; sales experience, basic telecommunications knowledge ( OR desire to learn) , and of course common sense
