Position Summary
University Relations Representative, Western Region
We are looking for a University Relations Representative to share the Western territory (North Western States) with our current staff. This position’s main goal is to build and develop relationships with accounting students, on-campus organizations, faculty, professional alliances, and accounting firms that you will meet and interact with at campus-oriented events. The ideal marketing representative must possess a blend of organizational prowess, a razor-sharp eye for detail, along with a genuinely social, outgoing personality.
Primary Responsibilities:
Schedule, organize and deliver on-campus presentations at your assigned schools
Hire, train, and support on-campus student representatives who will promote Roger CPA Review on their campuses. Campus representatives will share information and materials about Roger CPA Review with their fellow accounting students, keep marketing representatives abreast of campus goings-on, collect rosters of accounting student organizations, and report competitor activities.
Seek out and attend career fairs, social events, and other events
Develop and execute individualized marketing strategies at each campus
Conduct market research and report findings to marketing management
Provide feedback on development of marketing material
Collaborate with the University Relations Manager, other marketing representatives, and other marketing staff on a variety of special projects
Position Qualifications Include:
Bachelors Degree (mandatory)
Sales/marketing/PR experience a plus
Excellent Public Speaking Skills (mandatory)
Excellent interpersonal (both verbal and written) communication skills; with excellent command of grammar, spelling and composition
Organizational and planning skills
Ability to plan, anticipate, take initiative and follow through on assignments
Excellent team player, and ability to shift priorities, demonstrate flexibility, coordinate multiple projects and meet multiple deadlines
High energy level and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
Flexibility to attend marketing events on nights/Saturdays when needed
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet research
Upbeat personality, people person
A car (mileage reimbursement at established company rate) and ability to travel throughout assigned region for events
Additional Details on Role
Must be productive and accountable in a “work-from-homeposition with a home office workspace set up.
Must be prepared for a “seasonalevents calendar, with Sept Nov and Feb May being the busier event months
Must commit to 2 years.
