You are viewing my 2007 BMW R1200S which I purchased this past June 2008 from Bob's BMW in Jessup, MD. It is in perfect condition with no scratches, etc. It's never been down or damaged in any way. Besides the standard equipment for this model it has the following options from BMW; Heated Grips $235 and ABS Brakes $925 and Alternative Rear Axle $N/C. Sticker price with freight was $15,955. The 3 year 36K mile warranty will transfer to the new owner. Bike is under BMW warranty until May 2011.
The bike is very comfortable to ride. I've read in magazine reviews it's the sensible sport bike. I agree. The seat is well padded and the reach to the grips doesn't put much weight on your wrists. Also the opposed twin cylinder engine makes the power delivery linear and easy to ride. And unlike the touring bikes I've owned there is no buffeting around your helmet when riding at speed.
The only aftermarket part I added to the bike is a set of adjustable brake and clutch levers. Although the stock levers were also adjustable, the new ones are far nicer and easier to adjust (see pictures). The stock levers will come with the bike purchase as well.
I will be happy to assist with shipping and have had good luck using JC Motors to both ship and receive some bikes I sold and purchased on ebay. The buyer will need to set up and pay for the shipping but I will make myself and the bike readily available once payment is made.
I just lowered my reserve a couple hundred dollars in hopes to my bike! And I will throw in a high end bike cover as well.
