Sara came to the attention of the nation when she reached the finals of the 1998 Miss Italy pageant. After that great achievement, she turned her back on college and economics and consecrated her fame by getting some brand news boobs.
Now, like every showgirl/model worth her salt, she’s done a nu-de calendar for Max, appeared on a reality show (In her case, it was the Italian version of I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!), worked as a VJ, and dated several footballers — the sky, clearly, is the limit, even for a girl so staunchly opposed to publicity.
Dopo essersi laureata in economia presso l'Università Bocconi di Milano, ha conseguito il diploma di recitazione e di dizione presso il CTA di Milano e ha seguito uno stage di recitazione all'Actor's Studio di New York.
La sua carriera inizia nella televisione: veejay per All Music, nel 2002 valletta al Paolo Limiti Show, in onda su Rai Uno, nel 2004 inviata del programma Con tutto il cuore, finalista a Veline 2004, "paperetta" di Paperissima, "schedina" di Quelli che il calcio. Raggiunge una maggiore notorietà nel 2006, classificandosi al 4° posto nella quarta edizione del reality show l'Isola dei famosi.
Nel 2006 partecipa al programma On the road, in onda su Italia 1, e posa per uno dei calendari 2007 della rivista Max. Nel 2007 gira il film Gli ultimi della classe, regia di Luca Biglione, nelle sale nel febbraio del 2008.
