Located in the near, northwest suburbs, our upscale, retail children’s portrait studio creates custom, personalized portraits and collages that capture a moment which will last a lifetime. We are looking for a full-time photographer to work weekdays / some weekends at our studio. Job tasks will include conducting photo sessions in-studio and at off-site locations, editing images in Adobe Photoshop, printing, viewing images with clients, sales, marketing, etc. Starting date is immediate.
Successful candidates will possess the following qualities:
- Minimum of 2 years studio photography experience (experience with children in a studio setting is a must)
- Excel in Adobe Photoshop (CS2 or greater)
- Experience shooting in digital and fluent using studio lights
- Prior work experience in a retail environment
- Adore working with and being around children
- Energetic, outgoing and possess excellent verbal communication skills
- Self-starter and motivated
