Brella Productions (Evanston, IL) is seeking a Video Editing and Motion Graphics Intern for the winter of 2009. This is open to juniors (with extensive production classes), seniors or graduate students only.
We are a video and New Media Production Company that specializes in creating engaging Interactive communication pieces (Sales, Marketing and Training) for Corporations, Ad Agencies, and Educational Publishing clients.
We are looking for an intern with AVID and/or After Effects experience. Other graphic / design or motional graphic software familiarity is a plus. Our preferred intern will be up-beat, self-motivated and ready for new challenges!
Areas of work will include:
Knowledge of logging, digitizing and basic editing
Basic knowledge of Avid Media Composer and/ or Avid Express
Familiarity with web compressions and tape dubbing
Basic knowledge of After Effects
An eye for detail and the ability to work independently
The ability to create a compelling visual narrative for an educational environment

Compensation: This Internship is paid at $8 per hour, and we are hoping for at least 20 hours per week. There may be weeks when there will be 40 hours available, please let us know your work limitations.
