Interior designer/General Contractor looking for assistant:
Work for a busy designer in a great casual setting and learn a ton about design and construction, everything from bathroom tiles to drain tiles. Potential for growth into full time.
REQUIREMENTS:
-must have a cell phone
-must have a car
-must like dogs
-must be fluent in AutoCAD, excel, photoshop, illustrator
-must be fluent in some 3d software
-must be very organized
-must be detail oriented
-must have at least basic understanding of construction
-must not have masters in architecture
Features of the job
-assisting in all phases of interior design and construction jobs
-creating drawings from floor plans, wall elevations to furniture pieces,
and construction drawings
-selecting and shopping for merchandise
-preparing materials for subcontractor bids and for client review
-assist in project management
-general office work
-time management
