WEB UI/GRAPHIC DESIGNER
*Responsible for the creative and final execution of graphic design in user interface development.
*Create intranet, extranet, and application designs.
*Code dynamic behavior components for web applications using JavaScript and following proper change management processes.
***HIGH PROFICIENCY IN JAVASCRIPT IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST!***
*Understand and use principles of brand identity and graphic standards
Skills Required:
* Bachelors degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or Communication Design required
* 6+ Years overall IT experience that will specifically include: 3+ years with web graphics design and user interface development.
*Strong demonstrated knowledge of how to apply graphical concepts to an internal and external layout in a web environment.
*3+ years experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Expert skill level required.
*3+ years experience with Adobe Tools (especially Photoshop and Dreamweaver).
*Candidate must have a strong knowledge of how to apply graphical concepts to an internal and external layout in a web environment as demonstrated in the candidates portfolio.
*Required Skills include Adobe tool suite, AJAX, XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
* Expert level experience with JavaScript is absolutely required.
*Ability to code object oriented JavaScript to provide for dynamic behavior within the user interface with an understanding of the server behavior relating to AJAX.
*Coding must follow proper change management, verification, and version control processes.
*Familiarity with open source JavaScript libraries is a plus.
Skills Preferred:
*SharePoint Designer experience. Accessibility and/or Usability experience
Education Required:
*Bachelors degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or Communication Design required.
