The ideal candidate possesses at least two years experience in a publishing firm, agency or related field and wishes to work in an exciting, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You MUST have good design skills and an excellent working knowledge of Adobe Indesign, QuarkXpress, Photoshop and Illustrator.
You’ll be given an Digital Aptitude Test during the interview. We’re a Mac-based, wholly digital production environment. Working knowledge of CS 4, QuarkXpress 6.5 is mandatory & familiarity with PDF workflows is an asset. This is a PART-TIME job. We are very deadline driven with tight turnaround times. You MUST be able to work quickly, calmly and under PRESSURE. Reliable transportation is necessary.
