A dynamic downtown Ad Agency is seeking a media assistant to aid in the execution of all media planning functions across teams both traditional and online/interactive.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Generate newspaper / print insertion orders for Clients.
Coordinate and reconcile print billing.
Track media expenditures to ensure agency and Client budget compliance.
Update Client media activity flowcharts and ensure follow through
Maintains a common platform of client information
Facilitates communication across teams
Monitor trade publications for media trends.
Requirements:
College Degree
Must have related media internship or job experience
Proficiency in MS Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook
Must have working knowledge of MS Excel
Duties require high attention to detail
Must be self-motivated, positive, and accountable
Excellent communication skills both one on one and in small groups
Clear and concise writing skills needed
General accounting experience helpful; must have an affinity for numbers
Must be a team player
Location: New York
Compensation: $30,000 to $32,000
