Contemporary private-label Fashion Company (mostly women’s) seeks talented, motivated interns. We are looking for Fashion Design students or graduates that have an artistic sensibility with a desire to gain hands on industry experience.
You will get a chance to assist with:
Preparing tech-packs, line sheets and spec sheets
Managing in/out flow of samples and patterns from market-place and overseas factories
Preparing presentation boards and other materials for buyer’s meetings.
Sourcing materials for design inspiration & development
Sourcing and organizing fabrics, yarns and trims
General administrative help
Production coordination
General knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and fashion history is a plus. Candidates MUST be proficient in programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) and should know how to do hand sketches and sew.

The position is available immediately. Hours are flexible but we prefer at least 2 full days per week or 3-4 partial days.
This is an unpaid internship, but you will get great experience. There is a possibility of a small food/transportation stipend once you have worked for a few weeks.
This Internship may provide you with the opportunity to advance to a paid position if you show the requisite skills and level of responsibility.
