Reporting to the Interactive Services Director, the multimedia production artist is responsible for the production of interactive direct marketing assets including email revisions & versioning, landing page assets & versioning, Microsites, surveys, & sweepstakes assets, banner creation and overall client branding and style guide management for interactive. The multimedia production artist is a member of the Interactive department. Creative brief will be provided to kick off projects and you will work with the interactive team to refine requirements. Execute designs through rounds, design for presentations and release final Photoshop files to programmers and vendors. A team player, who enjoys creative collaboration, finds innovative and creative solutions and works well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design of projects for any and all of the agency’s clients;
Ensure rounds and versions are accurate and error free;
Responsible for the accurate release of final photoshop files to programmers and/or clients by the agreed deadline;
Remain up-to-date on the latest client design requirements, style guides, and dynamic content requirements;
Maintain archives of final and photography files.
Serve as a the multimedia production artist for the Interactive group on multiple, concurrent projects that vary in size and scope
Participate in project kick offs to determine the best process for building out all requirements in the most cost effective means possible .
Plan, manage and report project status, budget, and milestone achievements for all phases of a project
Work closely with various groups of different disciplines to assure client satisfaction
Requirements:
4+ plus years of multimedia production artist experience
A strong understanding of Interactive technologies
MUST have ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects
Strong understanding of HTML and design of web pages and emails for optimum performance across all platforms and browsers and email clients
Extensive knowledge of web technologies and constraints
Extensive knowledge of web development process, especially design and production processes
Deadline driven: Meets deadlines
Skills:
Bachelor of Arts, equivalent degree in visual arts/multimedia design or related field;
Wide ranging Interactive portfolio focused on Interactive direct marketing campaigns such as email marketing, landing pages, banners, Microsites etc.
Excellent design skills;
High level of understanding in multimedia graphic design, layout, typography and illustration;
Highly skilled and efficient in the use of Photoshop including the ability to make changes quickly and accurately;
Familiar with InDesign, QuarkXpress and Illustrator,
Very proficient in photo editing and color correction;
Highly organized with an ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and simultaneously handle multiple projects with total accuracy and attention to detail;
Excellent attention to detail and production of error-free work;
Work well as a team player in a flexible, dynamic and fast-paced environment;
Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills;
Highly motivated self-starter with a can-do attitude.
Experience with HTML, JavaScript, JSP, ASP.NET
Ability to multi-task effectively
Extremely detailed oriented
Excellent time management, interpersonal and negotiation skills
Ability to identify and implement process improvements
