A south Orange County based International Apparel Company is currently in need of a Assistant Apparel Designer that has 3+ years experience in a related field. This position will work very closely with the Design and Product Development team
Duties include but are not limited to;
-Maintenance of Standardized Tech Pack Data: -Conducting weekly fittings - Building and inputting information in Tech Packs. Input and maintain garment construction templates, points of measure sketches, grade rules, basic spec blocks, all technical trim information. -Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and Illustrator - Excellent oral and written communication skills -Ability to work as a team member -Technical Fabric Knowledge -Working knowledge of construction, pattern making, grading, and sketching
To be considered for this freelance opportunity you must be available to start asap and be very fluent in Illustrator and be fully capable of doing clean detailed technical flat sketches.
