Description
Position Summary:
I am looking for a Graphic Designer to provide creative concepting, maintain branding and develop creative solutions in both print and online executions. Candidates must have excellent visual design skills, good technical know-how and an excellent command of print and the printing process with solid results and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Print
•Conceptualize, design and produce promotional printed materials including catalogs, brochures, flyers, postcards and other printed collateral
•Ability to create press-ready mechanicals/collecting files for output for offset printing.
•Spec jobs for printing, liaison with printers and attend press-checks to ensure high quality results
Online
•Provide design direction and mock-ups for new elements of the website.
•Update the website with current products.
Candidate must possess:
•Strong artistic sensibility, demonstrates good creativity and has expertise with design elements such as color and composition.
•Good organizational skills in order to meet deadlines and stay within a budget.
•Strong communication skills to effectively present ideas both verbally and visually while working with internal clients to achieve the desired end results.
•Excellent problem solving capabilities and the ability to work independently to produce top-notch creative solutions.
Requirements:
•Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, QuarkXpress, Photoshop and other related design programs
•Expert knowledge for print production & the printing process
•Advanced knowledge of HTML coding, CSS, and of digital imaging with Adobe Photoshop.
•Understanding of print graphic design.
•A bachelor’s degree in graphic design.

•Ability to work with a positive attitude as a member of a team.
•Produce and implement designs under tight timelines.
•Maintain a consistent look and feel across online and offline mediums.
Location: Irvine
Compensation: 42k-52k /yr depending on experience
