Job Summary
Confirming that the digital art files are all present , valid, correctly formatted, and of the desired type. Requires in-depth knowledge of desktop publishing applications such as Illustrator.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The position does not have any designs functions, all of the completed art work is given to us by our customers.
Responsibilities
Make sure images and graphics embedded by the customer have been provided and are available to the application.
Assure fonts are accessible to the system, not corrupt and are in a compatible format.
Look to see that image files are of the correct color format, resolution and are of formats that the application can process.
Confirm that the page layout document size, margins, bleeds, marks and page information all fit within the constraints of the output device and match the client specifications.
Communicate effectively with supervisor, customers, co-workers, account managers, and all pre-production
Requirements
3 to 5 years experience in Adobe CS-3 Software preferred
Confident user of Mac OS X
Strong work ethic and organization skills
Must posses a high level of proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
Printing company experience a plus
