dane decor—the leader in Contemporary and Scandinavian Furniture for over 30 years is seeking a Design Sales Consultant for a Full-time position at our Mt. Laurel showroom. Accepting resumes via email only—no phone calls or faxes.
The Design Sales Consultant is responsible for generating sales and providing exceptional service to all customers consistent with the dane decor mission.
Job Responsibilities:
_ Sales generation
_ Help customers in a courteous, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested manner
_ Suggest additional items based on assessing customer needs
_ Close the sale, writing a quote, and following up with customer
Product Knowledge:
_ Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of dane decor products
_ Demonstrate an enthusiasm for our design, furniture, and accessories
Merchandising: Assist in maintaining the Showroom design and housekeeping standards.
_ Assist in showroom changes
_ Maintain a clean work space, back room, and restroom
_ Support basic maintenance of the showroom
Working Relations: Work professionally with customers, fellow associates, and corporate contacts.
_ Take initiative to fulfill customer needs in a timely and appropriate manner
_ Cooperate with fellow associates and promote a positive team spirit
Requirements:
_ MUST HAVE previous experience or education in Retail or Design industry
_ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
_ Ability to identify customer needs and problem solve, to understand and explain product features and benefits
_ Attention to detail and outstanding problem-solving skills
