This internship is the perfect opportunity to get involved in the art community. The Art Gallery intern needs to have the knowledge of art history, good writing skills, and will be responsible for researching and contacting galleries in the United States and Internationally. You will also assist our Gallery Network production team and our web site department, posting artworks and exhibitions for galleries and artists, insuring that our database is kept current with art info and artists biographies.
Flexible Schedule available, with 3-4 month time commitment required.
The internship is unpaid position, we will provide you with a small daily allowance $10 for gas/lunch.
Intern can arrange with their college to receive course credit.
Qualifications and requirements:
Current college student or recent graduate
Background in art, art history.
Proficient PC knowledge
Ability to multi task , organized and detail oriented
Self motivated
Professional and pleasant phone etiquette
