The laptop does show signs of wear but is a great little workhorse. Windows XP has been freshly installed and its fast without all the bloatware from HP. Some components have been upgraded (more RAM, wireless card). You will also be getting a bootable Win XP SP3 disk in case you want to do a fresh install at some point in the future. I have not tested the battery (havent used it in a while) but it ran fine for over an hour and a half while I reinstalled the OS and the drivers. The laptop does not have any visual defects (cracks, scratches, etc) except for worn palm rests visible on the photos. There seems to be no dead pixels. No lowballing please
