Hello my name is Joey. Unfortunately I have some family business to take care of and must move ASAP. The room for rent should be available by next Friday November 13, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. or sooner.
The location of the 2 bedroom apartment is 1337 E. 11th Ave Apt. 1 (literally on the corner of 11th and Lafeyette), Denver CO 80218). It is a classic brick stone wall apartment complex with only 12 units (6 units on each side). It is a two bedroom, one bathroom apartment with living room, dining room and kitchen. There are hard wood floors in the living and dining rooms, a beautiful brick fireplace and a very charming 1940s feel with crown molding on the ceilings and windows. The apartment and room available both are on the South and East facing corner of the building and get plenty of sunshine. There are no air conditioners however the ceiling fan works great and the energy bill is really low (about $20-40) per person as you pay only the electric (no gas bills). There is plenty of shade with the blinds and the house generally stays mild in both the winter and summer as it is very insulated. Internet is available as well as a community coin operated Laundry room. Free Parking and it is usually not a problem to find a spot any time of the day.
The room has a very large closet, with two entrances (one is french door which is great!). There is plenty of space in the room as a queen size bed, night stand, keyboard and medium bookshelf fit perfectly and spaciously in there now. There is a King Soopers and Wild Oats just up the block and plenty of bars just in walking distance. The best part is that Cheeseman Park is about two blocks away and great for running and hanging out.
Rent is $415 and the deposit is relatively cheap at around $220.
Also, there are three major bus lines within five minutes of walking distance.
The 12 picks up at Downing and 12th
The 10 picks up at 12th and Downing
and the 15 and 15L picks up at Colfax and Downing
The roommate staying is a 24 year old female from Iowa named Liesa. She is currently going to school at Metro State. She is very friendly and laid back. She is hardly home as she works days and goes to school at night. She spends a lot her time with her boyfriend and is mostly studying in her room so it is like you have the house to yourself. The landlord requires a 12 month lease with a $170 fee if you decide to cancel. No cats or dogs. Also, smoking available on the sweet stoop right outside the front door.
