2 additional rooms available jan 1, 2010 - may 31, 2010 or longer...
$475 - unfinished floor, 3 bay windows face east and the street, no closet.
$525 - refinished floor, 2 windows, one faces east and the street, the other faces south.
rent includes utilities.
rooms are available partially furnished.
i am looking for clean, easy-going, responsible tenants for a minimum of one semester.
longer stays are preferred.
first months rent and security deposit are required at lease signing.
we have high speed (cable) internet and a washing machine and dryer.
the house is not equipped with a land line (telephone) or cable television.

and the trailways bus station, and is a quiet residential street.

5 minutes to 87 thruway exit 19
20 minutes to new paltz, bard college, woodstock, rhinebeck, red hook, tivoli, amtrak train.
35 minutes to the metro north train station in poughkeepsie.
pets are negotiable with an additional deposit.
large, fully appointed kitchen, dining room, living room, 1.5 bathrooms and basement are shared between 4 housemates, providing plenty of room for everyone to spread out. hardwood floors throughout house.
there are two off-street parking spots which are shared between the household, otherwise cars parked on the street must follow alternate-side parking rules and be moved daily.
during the winter, the household is responsible for clearing snow off the front path and sidewalk.
come spring, enjoy a beautiful back porch and garden with herbs, flowers, fruits and vegetables.
the current housemate is 31, female, recently graduated from a program in bookbinding and conservation. she studies at bard college and divides her time between brooklyn and upstate, as dictated by her schedule. friendly and quiet, she spends most of her spare time reading or watching films.
i own the house and travel during the winter...my room is available as of nov 27th and i will be returning in early may to once again live in the house. i am female, 35. i bought this house 4 1/2 years ago and have been landscaping and refinishing the interior as time and money allows. i am a freelance artist and a bit of a jill-of-all-trades. i love to garden and cook when i have time. i prefer organics and natural cleaning products where possible.
