Costs 20 million a year to run a cup car and 200,000 million to run Formula 1. Do the math! with that budget you can see that the sky is the limit for technology. Nascar purposefully keeps a lid on technology(pushrod motors and carburetors) to keep the cost down and to be able to police the competitors(no computers). That is why they have 43+ cars showing up for a weekend and 20 in F-1. Racing is far better and closer in Nascar.
Perhaps a little research on your part would be a good thing.
