I think you need to part ways. If you are not ready for commitment, youre not ready. If hes ready for commitment, hes ready. Just as he tried to convince you to enter into a commitment to no avail, you are not going to be able to make him understand your need to stay commitment free right now. Why should neither of you get what you want out of a relationship Plus, I think if was as good as you say, you would take the step and make a commitment. Most people wouldnt let a person like that slip away . . .
