Man, I used to live in DelRio when my parents were stationed at Laughlin---What a fukkin Hell hole that was eh
I remember 3 things happened when I lived there-
The skunks got rabies-gov of Tex opened season on them! you cant imagine the smell...
A heat wave hit,it was 114 and all the scorpions crawled out from under the house- they were dropping out of vents, in our shoes, cabinets, dishes....like a horror movie.
It also snowed the first time in 13 years- I saw 500 accidents happen in the only 15 minutes it was on the pavement. YEEHAWWWWW.
OH< and every night 15,000 Mexicans would pick the neighborhood clean. Mailboxes, car attenas, garden hoses, you name it.
