You are looking for sympathy
Youre at fault for all these problems, because youre a weak person. A strong person wouldnt be in this position.
Youre at fault for not enforcing the rules in your own house.
You dont know how to say "NO!" with authority.
You want to be the nice person to everyone, a big brother/sister type for all.
Now its time for you to mature, grow up and enforce the rules, or kick these bums out. You wish to continue to live in silent agony
and anger, go ahead.
I have a large Victorian house near Sloans Lake and have rented the basement floor many times over the years. Always have a written contract.
Here are some tips for you:
1) Put your RULES in writing and have them read it with you and sign it.
2) Post the rules in the room/floor they are renting.
3) When RULES are broken, politely enforce them immediately!
4) Do not accept rent that is not in full payment, and enforce any late charges.
5) Never give the run of your house to renters. Make them request any PRIVILEGES (BBQs, guests, over-night guests, parties, ect.).
6) Evict when renters dont respect your RULES.
Now get some backbone and kick this bum out! You can find another renter.
