I dont know where to post this so I figured Id try it here. Ill start by saying its mostly my fault for being a nice guy AKA sucker. I put up for sale my plasma tv with surround sound for cheap because Ive been unemployed for 3 months and needed money for a plane ticket to attend a funeral in FL. I got several emails and the first 2 were no shows as usual. I got an email from a guy named Mike who said he wanted it. Talked to him, said he had cash and he came that evening. I was asking $350 for everything and he agreed on the price and we shook on it. He said he only had $150 on him and would bring the rest in the next morning. Desperate for the money I let him take the TV only even though I feel it was worth at least $100 more than the $150 and expressed that to him.Well he didnt show up that morning and finally returned my call that evening and said he was called into work and would come the following morning. He never came and would not return phone calls. Until I sent him some not so friendly texts I finally got a response 3 days later while getting ready to board the plane to the funeral. I was lucky to sell some tools to get the rest of the money. If anybody knows a "Mike" who drives a Ford Taurus with the phone number 720-936-2164 and supposedly lives near Washington and 144th and uses his girl friends email c.roderick@yahoo.com please let me know. I know Im the idiot for letting him take it but people who prey on others in a time of desperation are the scum of the earth.
